I can cure, I can repair, I can restore. I can reform, I can transform. I can brighten, I can enlighten. I am nourishing, I am long tempered. U can never see me angry. I am humble. I listen . I understand. I beleive in truth. I depend on God. I tolerate everything. I can endure, I can persevere, I can persist. I am with you and for you. I give and forgive. I forgive and forget. I clean. I clear. I change lives. I make you knowledgeable, wise and great. I am nice , kind and honest. I am vast but you see through a microscope.I look through telescope. You find fault. I find only remedies. I won't hurt your ego. So donot stay away.Donot be frightened to hold me. I am sacrifice and I am performance. I am not lust, I am life. I am pure, I am eternal, I am holy. I am your body, never misuse it. I am your soul, never embitter it. I am your conscience, never deceive it. I am your family. Donot take their love to be obvious. I am your teachers. As my professional life begins

Business houses are of two types. The risk averse and risk takers. The second types beleive in marketing while first types are salespeople. A balance of both is required for growing your business as well as sustaining it. In back end you work for cost minimisation by managing inputs and at the front end it's all about channel management and brand building.Your customer touch points (channel and media ) are your face to your customers. Government as well as your competition are the environment. Your area of business operations also determines a lot of things. In such a competitive scenario, it is difficult to create an impact within constrained budgets but that is the beauty of marketing. That is where Management differs from Entrepreneurship!!!!

Where every minute is a risk!!!

When we talk of microfinancial services it is always credit and savings. There is no doubt that strong demand for micro finance services in our country exist among the poor. There are around 150 million poor households present in our country whose average credit requirement is around Rs 20000. So we can see that a potential demand of Rs 300,000 crores ($ 60 billion) exist, out of which only 10% i.e. $6 billion have been covered by micro-credit agencies. While we can clearly observe the potential for microfinancial services across our country, reality on ground is that MFIs instead of venturing into unexplored market of actual poor and needy in the remote corners of the country, they are busy oversaturating an already saturated marketspace leading to a phenomena called the MF bubble (more or less similar to the housing bubble of US) due to overlending and multiple lending to the not so poor and needful. AP has become hub of Microfinance with every second MFI present there. Customers hav...

The Power of Holi

Image
It started with young Prahlad spreading colors of truth, persistence and faith in God in this world,Holi will ever remain one of the energetic festivals in this world.. The best holi of my life still is the Holi of Ravenshaw in year 2002.I was the only kid of intermediate staying with the graduates in the Graduation block, then called Daya, while all my batchees stayed in Devi.I was obviously the youngest.Initially it was a little awkward but I ended up being the best buddy to most of them later. The Holi I am talking about is when I initially had not mingled with them.I was not talking much to them.In the morning I woke up to their screams near the wash basin. My room mates included a final year student Lipika Mohanty. She was the show stopper of the wHOLe HOoLIganism show taking place there. So of course they pulled me out of the room with the greatest ease and each one of them got the much sought after chance and some even got two to lift me up and put me to containers of their choice w...

The Rising Sun !!

The rising sun has countless hues Red, Yellow, White and Blues. Yellow is Friendship Red is Love. Blue is Thirst of wisdom White is Dove.. Its heart is full of colors But it has its own turmoil. The world will be brightened up with its soft pink rays So Yes, it has to boil.. To transform clouds out of the vapours To fulfill the wishes of parched lands. Ponds, lakes, rivers and oceans But world's only about mirages and sands.. Waters disappear with its proximity Lonely in the sky will it ever remain. Whenever it sets in the orange-red sky Remembers to rise again.. It knows nothing is eternal Neither friends nor foes nor hues The only thing that stays forever Are the moments that are simple, are true… - Mousumi

My first Post!!

I am starting with a semi-urban fair called rural Mela.Though there was not much rural except for the name.R.nagar is a semi-urban area except for its educational institutions out of which NIRD is treated as a landmark and it was hosting the fair. I was expecting to see raw rurality at its best like animals, pottery, sculpture, rural folk and all that.A bit disappointed, but none the less, I found was wooden and paper handicrafts at their best. The dig-dig toy,the Sayonara fan,the beautiful bangles & key chains, pretty jewellery boxes, cheap and good looking paper bags are the stuff which I actually enjoyed. There were items of bamboo and jute like bags and even lanterns. Yes how can I forget, clothes which they were selling as Kochapalli but designs resembled Sambalpuri and bags and wall hangings of appilique which reminisced me of my own place..I enjoyed Masala corn and happily came back after satisfying my shopper's appetite..
